daft networking question

    how long would it take to download a 50KB file on a 50Kb connection??


    got asked this today at an interview

    bob,

    In a perfect world, about 8-10 seconds. 50 kilo bits per second, 8 bits per byte, with acks and other network delays, realistically anywhere between 10 and 20 seconds.

    thanks m8, i gave the answer as 8 seconds but wasnt to sure about it,
