Dam Gain!!!

    ok heres the problem....on my start menu i have "Gain"..gator watever u want to call it...but i cant just remove it from "add remove programs' so how do i get rid of this little problem?

    You can remove the offensive item from your Start menu in several ways.

    Right-click the Start button; point to Open; click the Programs icon; click the startup icon; right-click delete the programs in that Startup folder. Exit Start Menu.

    Also, you can left-click the Start button; Point to Run; type 'msconfig', without the quotation marks, in the Run box and click OK; Then click the Startup tab; Uncheck anything you don't need running in the background.

    A small obscure program called CleanMenu will take that invalid entry out of the Add/Remove Programs list from http://www.nettally.com/waldoe/freeware/wincleaners.html

    If you can't find this CleanMenu program below is the link to the Microsoft Knowledge Base that instructs you how to remove invalid entries from that list manually. Proceed with caution with the below or CleanMenu.
