I left it on the other night for about 9 hours, displaying the same image the whole time, no screen saver.
I was just wondering if any damage could be caused to a TFT monitor from something like this.
I know with some of the old CRT ones an image could be burned onto the screen.
Any risk of this happening on a monitor like mine?

Some LCD screens are susceptible to "image persistence" which is similar in appearance to CRT screen burn, but is reversible.

If you notice it, using an all white screen saver for a couple of hours will reverse it. The Marquee screensaver built into Windows with white background and white text will work.
