Hi I recently reinstalled a clients PC but for some or other reason his Quattro Pro data was not copied to the back up harddrive. I only found out later on that the data was missing. I scanned with data recovery software ( On-track and drive rescue) but I cant find a trace of this data even if I do a RAW recovery. Does any one know of software I can try to recover his data or if I can still retrieve the data PLEASE I NEED HELP URGENTLY!!!!

If Ontrack's EasyRecovery doesn't see anything, with all its various methods, I think it may not exist.

If i am understanding you correctly gfx and that you restored your recovery but it mysteriously dissappeared during the process, if you have an imaging program why not give them an image of the system that you reinstalled? And just give them the program to restore it with it. My guess would be to run a program like acronis and then hand them a restore cd set containing the restore image? Might not be a bad idea. That would not be a bad worse case scenario.
