    Can anybody help?

We have a family PC that resides in a communal area in the house and is used by a number of children and my better half and me.

I always knew the computer wasnt running well, and routinely ran the spybot and adaware progams. But a few days ago things really started to go to the wall.......I have had a read through the forums and as a result have downloaded and run the HJT program, trouble is I dont know how to read them or what I should be looking for.

Can anyone please give it the once over for me and point out some glaring problems that may be there.....any help on this one would be much appreciated.

    Andrew

I don't see anything wrong with the log file. Perhaps running CHKDSK /R from a command prompt and a defrag will help.

There is nothing wrong with the logfile then? oh that is a bit of a relief.......though my browser is still experiencing problems?

IE sometimes loses its connection, Firefox opens and then almost immediately shuts itself down?? And messenger is hit and miss too.......messenger sometimes works whilst the browser doesnt (is this common)

Sorry to sound like a real chump on this one......I have run registryfix and diskeeper if that helps any?

    Thanks again
