database protection

    i creadted a database in access and i want it to be protected.
    how can i protect my database from others who want to modify it?

    set user and Group permissions in the Security section. The require a login before the database is accessed.

    would my database be protected from editing if ive done that?
    i made a database for a company and i want it to be protected from other programmers.

    If you set permissions for what the user can do, like only input data, or only edit existing data, then yes.

    Use the security wizard found in Tools, Security, User-Level security Wizard

    The main way to protect the code is to make the MDB file an MDE (executable). Search in the help to see how to do this.
