I have a column that I would like to change from text to date in Access. The dates are in one column and look like this: 5/20/04-0-6/20/04. When I try to change the format to the d/m/yy style, Access deletes all my date rows. Is it possible to have a date appear in one column as a time interval?
I stand to be corrected, but my answer is no. You can only have one date in a date field. The only way I can think to get round this is shown in my attached sample.
John,
I believe you are correct. I have bashed my head on the wall to long with this. Thanks for the conformation.
