My question is about working in a DAW recording and playback. The DAW in question is Reaper which I run on a PC using Windows 10. When I record, I can listen to my instrument through the I/O device (which is plugged into the computer via USB). However, if I want to listen to the playback, I have to hook my headphones to the computer via the mini plug. Is there a way that I can re-direct the playback sound to my I/O device?

You would likely get better guidance on a support forum for audio production or your audio hardware.

Having said that, is the device recognized as an audio device by Windows? If so, you could simply select it as a playback device in the audio config. Otherwise, it would likely require a player provided by the hardware maker.
