Hello and Thanks in advancce for your help.

I am running Windows 98 SE

I have just received an educational CD. When I attempt to run, I receive the error message MSVBVM60.DDL was not found.

Question...How and what do I do to solve this challange?

If this program has an uninstall feature (where under Add/Remove Programs, it shows up as an added program when installed), you could reinstall the program, then uninstall and watch to see if you are prompted to delete it. Also, if you're running Win98, go to System Info and under tools, there is the system file checker which might pick up this file as missing and reinstall it.

TO: Tony Klein

I had to think about your reply to MY earlier DDL question...Now I know I don't know how to do the down load.

Your response was...Download the MS visual basic 6.0 runtime files

My Questions

What address do I go tofor the download?
Should I create a folder in advance of download?

As you can tell my expertise level is "WAY" below yours.
Please if possible provde a...do this...than do this...etc.

Again, thanks for your timely response and help!

Just click "MS visual basic 6.0 runtime files " in my previous post.
\ It's a hyperlink, and a direct download link at that.
Choose "save to disk".

You can save VBrun60.exe anywhere you like.

Doubleclick VBBrun60.exe to let it install. When that's done, feel free to delete the downloaded file itself; it's done i'ts job.
