hi, i recently had my pc reformatted and the tech who did it installed deepfreeze 2000xp and FORGOT the password. we worked for a while trying to remember the password but to no avail. and time constricted, i needed to install and put my pc to use within the day. so i did some research how to unfreeze it, which worked like a charm. but then i wanted to replace it with a newer version but since i didnt have the password, i resorted to a tutorial i found online. which is to kill the process and erase the files. but when i reached the registry, i couldnt find the parts specified to be erased. pretty much theres no more deep freeze on my pc but when i tried to install a new version, this came up. "this install program cannot determine product version information". i tried several installers and all same outcome..

can someone help me with this? i learned my lesson, want something done, do it yourself.. just didnt have time to reformat the pc myself.

no password help here

deepfreeze is intended to prevent what you are trying to do
