I know the default page of a directory is index.html (which works fine) but is it possible to have index.asp to be the default?

I am using asp so that I can make use of includes to make maintaining the site easier. However when I have index.asp instead of index.html in the directory I get a "You don't have permission to access /Folder/ on this server." error. Is there something somewhere on the server I have to set up, or does it only work with html?

Under Administrative Tools->Internet Information Services Right click on the website name(on the left) and click properties. Go to the directory tab and add index.asp.

Also note that default.asp is usually added by default so you may want to try that one if you can't change your iis settings.
