Hi
Every time I stsrt up my computer I get a popup message that defender 0x800106ba was unable to operate.It also said to restart computer ,did that no differerent any ideas.

It's Microsoft at its' best . . . the message is totally meaningless . . However, what it is tryng to tell you is that your Defender is outdated, and that you should download and install the new version . . .

I was experiencing the same problem, but I installed the new version and now everything's going great!
