defrag help!!

    When I defrag my DELL 4400 when i view report i get lots of filed that could not be defragged.What does this mean as my computer boots up very slowly and when clicking on things it takes awhile for the ap to come up.
    there are no viruses either as I scanned at trendmicro

    The files could have been in use when you were defragmenting. We need a little more info? Like the OS you are running, amount of memory, cpu speed? Also, please download Startuplist from http://lurkhere.com/~nicefiles and copy/paste info back here.
