defrag not working

    I click on disk defrag and it opens but does not scan i don't have any thing else running. what's wrong? :confused:

    Just do it in safe mode you will find it will work in there,you will do best if you run scan disk first ......

    I agree. Run it in safe mode. This will insure that no programs or screensaver are running in the background to interfere with and abort the process. Read here.

    Ditto! The Windows ME version looks identical to the Windows 98/98SE version, but runs much faster. (y)
