deleted sound driver!! need help!

my brother got on to my computer and deleted a lot. I was wondering if i could go somewhere to buy something to get it back or if there was a download possible.

I have an hp/compaq computer.

 

yea now u aint have sounds on ur compter

 

put in ur install cd and reinstall it this works

 

yea i know...lol

 

i dont have the reinstall cd...never got one with the computer

 

what is ur sound driver what was deleting

 

i can't reinstall it, it was completely deleted off the computer

 

so u dont know what was ur sound driver on the computer

 

exactly...so i have to either download something completely new or buy something

 

at this situation u do what u think ,try to download some sounds driver when this works ok but when not u need to buy it .but the download soundriver sometimes works so chek it

 

anyone have any suggestions of what to download?
