deleting downloaded files

    I believe my computer was used to access adult only video downloads. how do i delete these from my computer if there are any? windows xp

    With Your browser open click Tools at the top and choose Internet Options and click on Clear History button.


    Also clean your Temp folders out.

    Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.

    Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
    Under Main choose: Select All
    Click the Empty Selected button.

    If you use Firefox browser
    Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
    Click the Empty Selected button.
    NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.

    If you use Opera browser
    Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All
    Click the Empty Selected button.
    NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.


    Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

    You'd have to search the drives for all possible video file formats such as AVI, MPG, MPEG, etc. Then you'd have to know which ones are safe to delete (not yours, someone else's, or used by the OS or other applications).
