Tried to use deletree in a Dos window in MSN's Home Edition of XP and it won't work. Have sent files & Folders to recycle bin and they won't delete. What Gives. Is there a different command for deletree?

Rmdir (rd)Removes (that is, deletes) a directory.

    rmdir [Drive:]Path [/s] [/q]

    rd [Drive:]Path [/s] [/q]

Specifies the location and name of the directory that you want to delete.
Removes the specified directory and all subdirectories including any files. Use /s to remove a tree.
Runs rmdir in quiet mode. Deletes directories without confirmation.
Displays help at the command prompt.

(The new "deltree". Type: "help" to see all commands.)
