According to that log, you have THIS 4th generation Dell Inspiron 3542 laptop.

According to that laptop's support site, it was originally purchased on October 16, 2014 in India and came with Ubuntu Linux 12.04.

According to your log, Windows 10 Pro Version 21H2 Build 19044 64-bit was installed in that laptop on May 07, 2022.

According to that laptop's support site, it originally came with Dell Wireless 1705 802.11bgn wireless + Bluetooth 4.0.

According to that laptop's driver downloads section, the wireless/bluetooth driver for Windows 10 64-bit was released in July 2015.

You should replace that outdated wireless/bluetooth device with a 802.11ac or 802.11ax model which better supports Windows 10 64-bit.

Macboatmaster:

This is from its original hardware configuration section:

yashbhoi:

Go into the Device Manager, then expand the "Networking Adapters" heading.
What's the exact name of the wireless device listed there?
Double-click that wireless device to open its properties window.
Select the "Driver" tab.
What's the exact driver version and driver date listed there?
Select the "Details" tab and then select "Hardware Ids" from the drop-down list.
What's the exact 4-character codes that follows VEN_ and DEV_ in those strings?

I'm guessing that wireless device is a Broadcom model, but it may also be an Atheros/Qualcomm or Intel or some other model.
Regardless of that, you still should upgrade it to a newer technology dual band 802.11ac or 802.11ax model.

According to the Dell site, this particular laptop itself only has the BIOS update... no Windows 10 drivers at all.

Also, since that you installed Windows 10 on a machine that was shipped with Ubuntu, you would also need to purchase a Windows 10 license or this machine will start to get the Activate License.

I would recommend going back to Ubuntu if you want this machine to work properly.

Same as I found
Could not work out at first why only BIOS showed

Don't forget there could be different models and as such different hardware. :) That's why I don't look at the model in general.

Due to no drivers for this model and the fact it's 8 years old, I would agree with Frank that a new adapter may be better than the original one.
