My computer goes to websites. I go to my radio station and want to gather points from surveys and trivia questions to win prizes. I click on surveys and trivia and they do not come up. I am also not able to play blackjack on my radio station the blackjack table does not come up. I also use webstore auctions and I am unable to view any particuliar auctions after getting to the website. I talked to a friend who had me download Java, but that did not work. Thank you.

Hello & Welcome to Tech Guy Forum.

Please run the forum's system info utility & post the results.
    http://forums.techguy.org/personal-news-announcements/948490-tsg-system-information-utility.html

When did the problem begin? When did the computer last work well? What changed; a hardware or software install or removal; a W7 update or update to your anti malware; an Adobe or Foxit Reader or Java update perhaps? Check your W7 update history.

Would you consider yourself a beginning, intermediate or advanced computer user?

Which browser do you use; IE9, FireFox, Google Chrome? If FF or GC, which version?
If IE9, have you tried using IE9 without add ons?
start > programs or all programs > accessories > system tools > IE9 no add ons.

The more information that you provide, the sooner will we be able to help you solve your problem.

This is a used laptop that I just purchased. Supposedly it is cleaned out. I have Windows 7 and Bit Defender anti-virus. I believe it to be 32 bits.

For what length of time have you owned this computer?

Have you ever had ant virus software installed? Have you ever had any other anti malware [ malware is a term for viruses, spyware, adware, and other nasty files ] installed? It is a good idea to have some installed.

Some gambling sites are more dangerous than other gambling sites. This is NOT intended to be a criticism of you.

By Windows 7 do you refer to the operating system, or Microsoft Security Essentials?

I bought it this past Saturday night. As far as anti-virus, the guy I purchased it from guaranteed that it has Bit Defender. It just does not show a couple of things that I go to. The radio station clickons and the auction site clickons. I am a beginner.

Uninstall BitDefender, and you may have to run the Removal Tool.. You can reinstall it after testing.

Did you get the genuine Windows 7 Installation DVD along with the computer? If not, you probably have a pirated Windows.
