I got this dell inspiron a few months ago and just recently i got an error message that said " Diskette drive 0 seek failure".. i did some research on this website and saw that it was the computer thinking it has a floppy drive. i went into the CMOS and clicked none for the floppy drive.. after that it restarted and another error message showed up that reads

    Boot from CD :
No boot device available, Press ENTER key to retry (when i press the enter key it brings me back)
    SATA-0: Installed
    SATA-1: Installed
    SATA-4: None
    SATA-5: None

What do i do from here? any suggestions?

Make sure your motherboard can see your harddrive, that has windows on it, should be the first menu in bios.

Check the boot order in bios, make sure your harddrive with windows on it is set to first boot device.

I would recommend making your CDROM as 1st boot device, Hdd as 2nd. That way if you need to install an OS or run a test disc before windows boots you can.
