Hi I am looking at these two laptops. Currently at home I have vodafone mobile broadband. I read that these 2 laptop are not compatible with mobile broadband for whatever reason. Is this true? and if this isnt true I have my mobile broadband installed on another laptop, I am guessing it is okay to install on 2 systems, thanks a lot in advance :)

I have no idea where you read that, but assuming you install the broadband adapter, I can't imagine why they'd be incompatible.

Well, that applies to 99% of the laptops on the planet! Very few come fitted with a cellular wireless capability, it's almost always an add-on.

in your current laptop that has the mobile broadband, do you have a mobile broadband modem that plugs into a usb port? if so, it will work fine on either of those 2 dells you mentioned. if you dont, and your current laptop instead has an internal cellular wireless with sim in it, then you will need more than just the sim card to get the dells online with mobile broadband.

You'll also probably require drivers to install on the new machine.
