I have a dell pcx laptop. It was working fine a few days ago, but now it's acting funky. When I plug the ac adapter into an outlet the green LED comes on as it's supposed to. However, when I plug the other end into the laptop, the LED starts blinking and I get NO POWER. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

If its in warranty contact Dell, even if not try their support online, I have always found them helpful. In terms of your problem it could be a battery recharge circuit failure which would need a new motherboard, or a fault A/C or something else!

What zeddy said sounds right. You might also try pulling the battery out of the laptop and seeing if it will run correctly with just the Ac adaptor plugged in. The battery could be bad.
