    I have a DellHP-145SNF Power supply.
These wire's are coming from the Voltage regulator/control PCB inside the P/S.
    There are 6 wires involved.
Here are 3 questions that I have,
1 - What is the Orange - "Power Good" looking for?
2 - What is the Brown wire for.
3 - What is the Purple - "+5VSB (Standby)" used for.

The Gray is Power ON when hooked to ground.
    Black goes to ground.
    Blue/White goes to -12V.

OK, the Orange wire goes to +5v when DC power is good.
The Brown wire is fan control.
The Purple wire is for Stand by +5v power for Wake on LAN or other similar functions.
    The build is in progress!!
    Thanks!

You're welcome. Let us know how it goes.

How did you find out what the Brown wire is for ?

I touched it to ground, nothing happened.
I touched it to +5v, the fan went into high speed mode.
It must have been controlled by some temperature type circuit.
Even 3.3v will make it go high.
