This may be in the wrong thread so feel free to move it.

I have a Dell A920 printer. When I go to print there are white lines through the text and when trying to print thin black text a yellow line prints instead. I thought it was that my ink cartridge was messed up so I got two new ones( black and color) and I keep having the same problem. Ive done all the troubleshoot cartridge things the printer tells you to do so I'm not sure if its the printer itself thats the problem

    Thanks!

Either the printer electronics or the print head is faulty, in my view.

You could eliminate the printer driver software on the PC by doing a printer self test (the manual will tell what buttons to press)

From what I understand looking at the help section the self test is when you print those pages with arrows and choose the clearest arrows. I did that and also ran the alignment test and it still has problems.
