I have a dell vostro 3700 and have had it for about 3 years with no problems. Lately it has been picky on when it will let me use my home wifi it will say "restricted use". Then today it stop working all together and says that no network connections are available, but they are because everyone else's computers in my house are working. Please help :)

If you are trying to use an integrated wireless adapter is it switched on?

What is listed in Device Manager under Network Adapters? What, if any, warnings or errors are anywhere in Device Manager?

Please attach a screen shot of the Networks page (don't collapse the Radar, Connection or Signal History) of the Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspector. If you need help with that see TSG Posting a Screenshot. FWIW to take screen shots with Windows 7 or Vista I prefer to use the built-in Snipping Tool. Also show ...

Start, Run, CMD, OK to open a command prompt:
(For Vista or 7 type CMD in the Search box after Start)

    Type the following command:

    IPCONFIG /ALL

[Note that there is no space between the slash and ALL.]

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If necessary use a text file and removable media to copy the results to a computer with internet access.

YAYYY! Thank you, it is fixed, when I went into device manager under network adapters it said my wireless N-Half-Mini Card was not functioning correctly so I double clicked it and it said fixing problem, and then my wifi worked! Thank you sooo much!

You're welcome, even though I didn't really do anything. :)
