New Member here! Anyway, I have a series of Dell w2600 LCD power boards (Liteon PA-5161-1m rev. b) that have gone bad. I cannot order these parts anywhere (Searched for hours!) and I was wondering if anybody versed in PSU's and the like could give me some pointers on the most common points of failure on these boards, so I can proceed to replace individual components on the board. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Contact Lite-on's corp office to see if they can supply such boards.

Those were made 4 years ago... LCD tech changes every few months (Cheaper, better, more features, lower cost, lower price, lower weight, etc) - so you can count on those PSUs being out of production for at least 2 years. Depending on how long they continued to manufacture the product+ warranty period.... If the part can be replaced - it may cost $300~500. About the cost of a 24" LCD TV $350~500.
