My dad just bought a new wireless router and out of our 3 computers, mine is having a problem. My computer is a Dell Vostro 1500 with a Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-Card. I am able to connect to the connection, but not stay online. I am not sure in what intervals I am being disconnected, but it is super frustrating haha. It seems my connection status is stuck on Authenticating. I hope someone can help me, I am quite unfamiliar with troubleshooting networking outside of the simplest tasks. Thank you in advance for any help!

Also, I read an old post about someone else with a very similar problem and someone had said,"Start, Run, CMD, OK to open a command prompt:Type the following command:IPCONFIG /ALLRight click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.Paste the results in a message here." So, trying to maybe help find a solution sooner, here are my results:

Hi:Is this ipconfig /all at failure time ?
Try two things.
Go to the router makers site and download any more current firmware for your model.
Change the wireless channel being used.1/6/11 are US preferred.
Also:
1. Update the network drivers (wired and wireless) on your computer to the latest available.from your pc maker’s web site
