Desktop icons gets highlighted and opens in multiple windows

    Multiple icons in desktop gets highlighted and my computer icon is not available, typing w in tab of browser closes the browser. Kindly help me solve the problem in my cq42 laptop

    It' most likely your keyboard or touchpad, or your external keyboard or mouse if you are using one of those. Make sure there are no stuck keys or button, clean the keyboard with canned air and/or a brush.

    Definitely it's not keyboard issue

    So you've tested it? How are you sure? It's usually the keyboard that causes such behavior, sometimes the mouse.

    if its a recent upgrade to win10, go to manufacturers site and see if the machine is supported for win10 and check for drivers
