desktop icons

I have icons on my desk top and I can't delete them as it states they do not exist. I also deleted a previous epsoon printer and there is still icons in my control panal and when I try to delete it states that they do not exist. How do I get rid of these Please:mad:

I tried vistawire but as I was downloading I was asked to pay and I am always wary about that as I am very new to this . The desk top Icons I got rid of by rebooting . Still have bits and pieces of epson in control panel. Help!!!!!

I have uninstalled the epson printer and installed an hp which is working fine but in the control panel I still have about 5 bits of the epson that I cant get rid off help please!!!!!:mad:

In the control panel I have one icon for each printer, so what do you have. Make a print screen.

hey again thanks for being patient with a dummy. I dont know how to make a print screen, but the bits that are left after uninstalling the printer are,Epson attach to email, epson easy photo print, epson file manager, epson scan assistant , epson flash player plug ins 9. they were all put on when I installed the epson printer but I cant get rid thanks for the help so far Teribus
