Hi, I recently downloaded a theme for windows m.e. and I've never done this before. so far I've installed the wallpaper and got the cursors in the windows cursor file and have the new sounds in their proper file too. I also managed to get the new desktop icons placed next to the old ones on the screen. ( I now have two of each!)
here's my problem; now what do I do! I have no idea how to procede from here, how do I switch the remaining items and activate the things I've already done?
Please help, confused in colo. Bill

You don't need to manually copy things like cursors and wallpaper around if you have themes support installed.

To check go to the control panel and see if there is a Desktop Themes icon present. If it is click on it and up will come a window which allows you to see what effects a new theme will have on your Pc overall. You would enable a new theme from here.

If you haven't got theme support installed add it from add/remove programs - windows components in control panel.

To install your new theme you should just have to copy it across from where it is now into the C:\program files\Plus!\themes folder. It will then become visible in the desktop themes window from control panel.
