    hi,
I really need some serious help.
When I run my PC in Regular and Safe Mode my desktop doesnt load, no Icons, Start Menu or anything shows up, only the desktop background picture. My mouse works perfect and the Task Manager (when I press ctrl+alt+delete). Im able to go through my PC when I run New Task Manager which I backed up my files on CDs just incase I might have to reinstall XP.

any help is most apprectaied, I wish I knew what was wrong.
    thanks

Rename it "xp.vbs". Put it on a floppy. Boot up your machine. Put in the floppy. From the File menu in Task Manager, New Task, type:

    A:\xp.vbs
