This is what it says when i turn on the computer:

Windows cannot load your profile because it may be corrupted

Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you on with a temporary profile. Changes you make to this profile will be lost when you log off.

    Its also running slow
and all my important things are gone :(
    Im very desperate 4 help!

logon as admin. You may be able to access your documents under C:\Documents and Settings\<your user>.

Please back them all up when on admin and create a new account for yourself. Delete the old one.

do you have the original XP CD.

    or reinstall it.

Try the recovery disk - I'm assuming you have a Dell or similar manufacturer's machine?

    you dont know?

    1. When you get to welcome screen, press CTRL+ALT+DEL twice.
    2. You get the classic prompt
    3. Type Administrator with no password, hit enter.
