 I am creating a price sheet for work in Excel. We have 3 different price levels, therefore 3 columns of prices on the spreadsheet. We always present our prices in "nickle" figures. User price is calculated as List price (the figure in column D) times .66667, and then round the answer up or down to the nearest nickle. How do I write this macro? I am reasonably Excel savvy, but I haven't done macros before (only seen them work). Please answer in layman's terms (duh!!!).
    Thanks,
    Lisa

    =MROUND(A1,0.05)

To use MROUND, you must have the Analysis toolpak addin checked under Tools-Addins. :)

So, I do believe, but I did not test: if your values start in D2, you could put:

    =MROUND(D2*0.66667,0.05)
