I wanted to connect an old external monitor to my laptop (Dell XPS 13).
The external monitor has AVG and DVI ports, while my laptop only has usb ports and one thunderbolt 3 port.

I tried detecting the monitor with 2 cables: DVI to HDMI and HDMI to USB C. However my laptop doesn't detect it. I added the links of the 2 cables.

Is there any way I can fix this?
