I recently had a new hard drive installed on my computer so I don't know if that has something to do with the problem I'm having or not, but I didn't have this problem prior to that. My problem is that any time I boot up or reboot my computer now I get a Found New Hardware Volume information balloon in my System Tray and a dialogue box on my screen that says this:

    Device Installer Error

Windows could not load the installer for Volume. Contact your hardware vendor for assistance.

After I click OK in the dialogue box I get another information balloon in the System tray that says:

    Found New Hardware
Your new hardware has been installed and is ready to use

First of all I don't know how to find out what hardware I'm using so no, I haven't contacted the vendor for assistance. I'm hoping that someone in here can help me solve this problem without my needing to do that or in lieu of that hopefully someone can tell me how to figure out what hardware I have on my computer so that I can contact them for assistance.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone here might be able to offer:)
