Dialer 6 G Easy to get rid of?

Have had this for around a week now AVG finds it, and moves it to the vault but it keeps "getting out"?

Done a bit of reading on this site (very good) and it appears the answer lies in "doing the hijack" (sounds like a dance). Any way do this and its below,

The very last line mentions dialer but do I remove it?

XP Home used.

Click on the link below to get lsp-fix.
Run that to fix your internet connection.

Launch the application, and click the "I know what I'm doing" checkbox.

Check all instances of inetadpt.dll (and nothing else) , and move them to the "Remove" pane.
Then click Finish.

Now start your computer in Reboot in safe mode, click here to see how, and delete:

The C:\windows\system\inetadpt.dll --> file
