I have this annoying dialer program popping up all the time and I tracked it processes called idd4xx.tmp.exe in the Winroot\temp folder.

So far I've tried everything I knew of (ZL, Trend, AVG ...) none of these spywares seem to remove it.

Here is my hjThis log.

I really appreciate the help.

Thank you for the reply.

I followed everything that you said and the dialer seems to be gone however I still have a few problems:

1. ZoneAlarm Anti Spyware scan gives me the blue screen so I've shut it down and replaced it by AVG Anti-Spyware for the time being. I might need a permanent replacement if the blue screens persist. Any suggestions?

2. I get an error starting up my computer about wdokbye.dll, I've tried removing fixing it in HijackThis to no avail.

3. At times my computer becomes super slow and I lose complete control over it (I can't open taskmanager and it seems I don't have permission to open some folders) but everything becomes operational a few minutes after I disconnect my internet connection which doesn't sound too good. As I can't run anything while it happens I don't know anything about the process that might be causing it.

Now here's all the reports, bear in mind that I ran AVG before I read your inital post and it removed some dll files, that's why there aren't too many items reported in the AVG anti-spyware scan that I saved.

Hi, dexgen :)

While TeaTimer is an excellent tool for the prevention of spyware, it can sometimes prevent HijackThis from fixing certain things. Please disable TeaTimer for now until you are clean. TeaTimer can be re-activated once your HijackThis log is clean.
  • Open Spybot Search & Destroy.
  • In the Mode menu click "Advanced mode" if not already selected.
  • Choose "Yes" at the Warning prompt.
  • Expand the "Tools" menu.
  • Click "Resident".
  • Uncheck the "Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of overall system settings) active." box.
  • In the File menu click "Exit" to exit Spybot Search & Destroy.
Please download the Killbox by Option^Explicit.

Note: In the event you already have Killbox, this is a new version that I need you to download.
  • Save it to your desktop.
Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [mlibsysmc] capabctl.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [wdokbye.dll] "C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe" "C:\Documents and Settings\Siavash\Local Settings\Application Data\wdokbye.dll",bpzgoi
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [mlibsysmc] capabctl.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [ymmsddlop] C:\WINDOWS\system32\vssmnptc.exe

Now close all windows and browsers, other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked.

Close Hijackthis.
  • Please double-click Killbox.exe to run it.
  • Select:
    • Delete on Reboot
    • then Click on the All Files button.
  • Please copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose copy):

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\capabctl.exe
    C:\Documents and Settings\Siavash\Local Settings\Application Data\wdokbye.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\vssmnptc.exe

  • Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose Paste from Clipboard.
  • Click the red-and-white Delete File button. Click Yes at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click OK at any PendingFileRenameOperations prompt (and please let me know if you receive this message!).

If your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually.

If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run Killbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try Killbox again.

Post a fresh Hijackthis and let me know how is the computer doing?
