    Hi All,
Could you please help me with an annoying problem? I am running AGV Virus Checker and twice it has picked up the Dialer.6.G Trojan. It then say’s it can’t remove and places it in the Virus Vault?
Is there any way I can get rid of it (there are 2 of the same in the vault)?
And more importantly what is this Trojan supposed to do.
Many Thanks for your help (please keep it simple lol)
P.S Whilst it is in vault is it safe???

Usually an adult site dialer.............have you tried deleting it from within AVG?

We can give you a onceover to see if thers anything else.
    Do this:
go to http://www.lurkhere.com/~nicefiles/ , and download 'Hijack This!'.....
Unzip it to its own folder, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log somewhere, and please copy & paste its contents to the forum.

It will possibly show other issues deserving our attention, but most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.

If you have anything disabled by MSConfig or any other startup manager, please re-enable it before scanning to post.

    ;)
