    Hello All

My eyesight is perhaps not as good as most therefore I find it difficult to know when new posts have been made. Is it possible to have a icon next to an unread post which then doesn't show after reading the post?

    Regards Silversurf

Yes, there is one. When you're looking at a forum such as Windows 10 in the below screenshot you will see a blue dot to the left of threads that have new replies which when clicked on takes you to the first unread post. That could be the firs one if you've never visted the thread or the first one you haven't read since visiting it the last time. As you can see in the screenshot, the thread above doesn't have the blue dot because I've read the entire thread and there haven't been any further replies yet.

Of course when there are new replies the title of the thread is bold but I assume that is what you are having trouble differentiating from the ones that are not bolded.

Hello Cookiegal - It is in the main to me the small difference between regular and bold I find difficult, I had not even noticed the blue dot.

BTW, clicking on the title of the thread will do the same thing so it's not necessary to click on the blue dot which can be difficult since it's so small. As long as you see the blue dot you know there are new replies and clicking on the thread title will take you to the first one that's unread as well.

In addition, and I do it, if using Firefox: In preferences there is the ability to change the size of the font.
Also there is the ability to either impose your choices of font or let the web site preference prevail. I impose my choices.

In Firefox, I set all the font options to 16 which works best for me.

You can also zoom in with the browser or using the mouse to increase the size of the entire page for easier viewing.

Or even make it smaller to take a screen shot of a page you normally have to scroll.

    Hello All

Thank you for your help and advice, I will increase the font size (never thought of that).
