    I'm glad i don't use drivers. vista recognizes the cameras when i plug them in

    I normally just take the FLASH card out and stick it into a FLASH reader. :)

    That's great to know. I'll do that first before attempting to download the software......
    I don't know if my new computer has a slot to insert the flash card..... hmmm. Something else to check.

    i have a card reader to. but for some reason. using the usb cable. is faster. for transferring the images.

    Never has been for me, perhaps your card reader is an old USB 1.1 model...
