Hi, I have a Samsung recorder and TV and I find that the TV can pick up all digital channels (esp ch 2 and 22 - I have young kids ...) but the Blu Ray player / recorder cannot. It picks up all other digital signals but not these ones. The question is : the aerial is connected to the recorder and then to the TV - why can the TV pick up all these channels but not the recorder when it goes through the recorder first ? I would appreciate any help in this, Thanks.

    First Name:
you might have to retune the recorder's inbuilt receiver to receive all the channels that the TV will pick up. Some TV's have an autotune function that automatically adds new channels, but some need manually retuning when new channels appear or channels get moved to make room for new channels.

Make sure the Samsung recorder is set to you particular TV region & it hasn't accidentally reset to a default location ( not yours) after a power outage or surge
