I have a digial camera software installed on my computer and have no problems manipulating software, drive, camera pictures, transferring, printing etc.
However, I recently installed a SONY video camera software on the same computer and have no problems transferring from video camera to computer, but cannot print or transfer videos to DVDs, the error is 'CANNOT FIND DRIVE E" and there are no other drives to choose from.
Should I stick with the computer transfer or should I purchase some other product to transfer videos?
HELP! My video camera is full and I don't want to delete anything!

Once you get it on the computer you can do anything you like with the videos. Download them to the computer to free up the card. You can then make a DVD or whatever you want to do with the videos.

Even if you could transfer directly to DVD you would have to check the DVD carefully before dumping the files from the card. The computer as an intermediate step is the safest way to do it.

If the videos are important to you at all I wouldn’t trust them to a single source like a DVD.

    Thanks for the reply....

I installed video camera software, transferred from camera to computer....the problem i have is "not being able to transfer from computer to a dvd".
It tells me "cannot find drive e" and the drop down menu doesn't give any other drive choices.

How do i configure computer/video software to give me a drive that will allow to transfer from computer to dvd?

    Look forward to ideas....
