digiview monitor

    power light will not come onthe monitor. when i turn the computer on, it looks like everything is loading the key board light come on and the mouse light comes on but the monitor light will not come on. what to do thanks for some help

    First check that the PC is really booting up, as if its just "power on" but no boot then the monitor will remain off.

    After you *think* it has booted, press the Caps Lock key a few times. The Caps Lock light should toggle on and off each successive press. If that does not happen, then don't blame the monitor, the hardware fault would be in the PC.

    monitor came on last night and the i lost power in the house.power came on and the monitor did not.how can i get into the computer and fix the problem appreciate any help thanks

    Have you run the simple test as above (Caps Lock)

    You have not added any more useful info apart from some history, but it sounds as though you might have lost a power supply with the power outage, if the Caps Lock test fails.

    Please post enough information that would allow us to help.
    Is the PC booting or not (Caps Lock test above)?
    If you want to "get into the computer", we would need to know what type of computer it is, laptop/desktop/make/model etc.
