Direct CD problem

My direct cd copier has just stopped working all of a sudden. I went to copy a cd and it says that it can't read the data in drive d: wich is my cd(dvd) drive. And it asks to make sure that my D: drive is properly installed. It won't copy, although I can see whats in the drive in Win Explorer. I'm very confused as I haven't even touched my computer before this happened. Please, any thoughts would help!

What software and burner are you using?

You might have installed something that is interfering. It is common for either the software or hardware maker to become aware of the problem and fix it with a firmware or software update. Make sure your burner firmware and software is up to date.

BTW DirectCD does not copy CDs. If you have DirectCD, the program that does the copy is EZ CD Creator. Update that at Roxio.
