Why is it that after I run Direct CD to format a CD for drag and drop and after I format the disc and copy what I need to copy that Direct is still running? I press control+alt+del and it's sitting in there and I don't know why? Anyone know?
Thanks

Direct CD always runs in the background to provide support for the UDF file system which allows you to drap and drop files to a CDRom drive just as you would to a fixed hard drive.

I've never tried to disable it at startup and I don't have DirectCD in front of me but you may be able to stop it from loading at startup. Right click on it's icon in the system tray and see if there's a setting to disable it. If not, try using Msconfig.exe to disable it.

Personally, my advise is to let it run and not worry about it.
