Hello, I was wondering if it were possible to "LAN" or just direct connect to a computer VIA your Ethernet cards, rather than running through a hub. My friend and I just wanna hook our systems up to trade some stuff and play a LAN game. Is it possible? If so let me know. Thanks.

Yes but you can't use a standard network cable. You need to have a crossover cable for it to work.

Hey, i watched Tech Tv's Screen Savers and they showed how to create one, but that alot of work and I dont wanna mess up. Is there anywhere you can buy a crossover cable and if so how much would it cost, and what software do you run it with?

Try your local compter shops or a computer show. I recently purchased a 25' Cat 5 crossover cable for $9.99. When at a recent computer show in the Detroit metor area, i saw a 50' cat 5 crossover cable for $12.99.
