I have a problem with my video card. At the moment I'm waiting for Windows7 to come out before I upgrade from Windows XP. So, right now Windows XP is installed.

After a while of playing games the game crashes. The graphics get completely screwed up and I can't see anything on the game. But the game is still responsive. The only way to fix this has been to restart the computer.

After the game crashes, any other game opened after that crashes as well, most of the time displaying that Direct X 9c is not installed, when it is.

Are there any solutions, or is it because we're running Windows XP 32 bit on a high end system? It's rare that you come across a problem where the drives are more up to date than the operating system.

This is a brand new computer, so all it's got installed is the OS, and some games.

I'm not a gamer, so I can't address your problem.

You'll probably have better luck posting in the "Games" forum.
