directv code 86-22 (HR/500 dvr)

This code relates to the lack of wired or wireless capability, and as a result no whole home sharing between dvr's, and no on demand (HR 24/500 DVR ) None of it will work, according to the second level techs at directv. The problem they report is a "bug"
in the Directv box, and that I am not the only one. They report it will be fixed in 48 hours and they will email me. I am almost to 48 hours (allowing for July 4th) I will add my directv box, Vizio smart tv, and comcast internet have performed well together for some time. I have not checked DHCP on router. (forgot the numbers to access). DTV seems certain they know.Anyone else have this issue? Spoken w Directv? Thanks
