What does "lp to mps" mean?

    What OS are you running?

From what I can find, you cannot update or reinstall DirectX 11 in Windows 7. You would need to reinstall the OS.

    Perhaps someone can confirm.

Yes, DirectX 11 comes with and is part of 7. It cannot be removed or replaced. And there is never any reason to go to a lower version of Dx since they are backward-compatible.

However, Dx 9 was the last major "full" version of Dx, so 10 and 11 still use the DirectX 9 runtimes, which need to be updated occasionally. This DirectX Runtimes Web Installer will scan your system and then download and install just the updates that you are missing.
