Hi peeps, so I did something stupid... I disabled all my services under msconfig and restarted my PC, now when it boots my Windows 10 "welcomes" me and then shows me a blank screen where I should usually type my password to log in, I have tried the Shift + Restart to try and boot in recovery mode, but that doesn't work. Is there a way to enable all my services again, maybe in a file on the hard disk?

    or any other suggestions???

I am willing to simply reload my PC, but want to avoid it if possible.

    Thanks in advance

Even though no one replied here I thought I'd post the solution that fixed my mistake.

The following is the reply I got from the user "Jenae" at Tech Support Forum.

I am able to use my pc as if nothing happened.

    Many Thanks Jenae!!!

I've edited your post to fix the formatting as you copied more than just the reply from the other site. Generally, it's best to use quote tags and provide a link to the thread which I've done for you.

Thanks for posting the solution back here and it may be helpful to others.

Hi, I should add that this fix will also repair many registry problems and also works for many infections, it depends on the type of problem and the time between the incident and windows making the regback. It used to be a much more complicated technique, my thanks go to some colleagues, who together we came up with this back in Vista days.

You can also manually enable and disable services and start up services through msconfig on your system.
